This process allows you (the insured) to submit information required for a claim to be processed. Our procedure allows a faster turn around time and more convenience to you.

Below are FAQ that may assist you in understanding our procedures.

1. Why is your organisation involved in this matter?
We are independent Loss Assessors/Adjusters and our appointment re this and any matter is due to further information or clarification required to assist with any claim to be processed.

2. How long will this process take until payment is made?
As soon as your reply and send the information requested, once collated, we forward all relative information including substantiation and or proof of purchase or ownership of the items lost or stolen to the Insurance Company for approval including our COALA settlement. Once we receive their approval, we will be in contact with you again with a COALA Settlement. Upon agreeing to same, payment and consideration will be forwarded to you.

This time may vary depending on how much data is processed. Usually without any problems, this should take no longer than 3-5 days.

3. What is a COALA Settlement?
COALA (Claims Orientation And Loss Appraisal) is a program we designed to assist in settling claims fairly and equitably. It automatically calculates any deprecation re items and formulates a settlement amount.

4. What if I have encountered Medical, Legal or other expenses throughout our period of cover?
You must contact the insurance company and/or complete the claim form in relation to this. The insurance company will then advise if further information is required or ask us to assist in the process.

5. What happens if I am not happy with the outcome of the claim?
All reputable Insurance Companies should have an avenue where complaints can be heard. For prompt response/action it is best to write to the insurer and outline the problems you have encountered or maybe experiencing.
